Terraform Global Inc
A renewable energy company that owned and operated solar and wind power plants in emerging markets such as Brazil, India, and China. It was created in 2014 by the solar developer SunEdison as a "yieldco" — a firm built to hold operating power assets — and was originally called SunEdison Emerging Markets Co. Its name borrows the science-fiction term "terraform," coined in a 1942 novella, meaning to reshape a world to support life.
