Trillium Therapeutics Inc
A Canadian biotech firm that developed experimental cancer drugs that help the immune system hunt down tumour cells. Trillium's therapies, TTI-621 and TTI-622, worked by blocking a "don't eat me" signal cancer cells use to hide from white blood cells, targeting blood cancers. Founded in 1996 from research at Toronto's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and The Hospital for Sick Children, it was bought by Pfizer in 2021. Its name honors the white trillium, the official flower of its home province of Ontario.
