Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp

A gold-focused streaming and royalty company based in Toronto that pays mining companies upfront cash in exchange for the right to buy future metal at a fixed price (streams) or a slice of mine revenue (royalties) — so it backs mines without digging a single hole. It was founded in 2016 by mining veteran Shaun Usmar, who built it from scratch into one of the world's largest precious-metals royalty players. The "Triple Flag" name nods to the act of "flagging," or spotting and marking the most promising mining opportunities.
