Ur-Energy Inc.
A uranium mining company that pulls the fuel for nuclear power out of the ground using in-situ recovery, a method that dissolves uranium underground and pumps it up to be dried into "yellowcake." Incorporated in 2004, it runs the Lost Creek facility in Wyoming's Great Divide Basin, in production since 2013, plus the nearby Shirley Basin project. The name is a play on the chemical symbol for uranium — "Ur" is shorthand for the element that powers its business.
