Wl Ross Holding Corp.
A holding company built by investor Wilbur Ross, the restructuring specialist nicknamed the "King of Bankruptcy" for buying up struggling businesses and turning them around. Ross, who had led bankruptcy work at the investment bank Rothschild, launched his own firm in 2000 and used it to gather steel companies into International Steel Group, a venture later absorbed into what became ArcelorMittal, and to build the auto-parts maker IAC. Ross went on to serve as U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
