World Gold Trust
A sponsor of exchange-traded funds that hold real physical gold, best known for the SPDR Gold Trust (ticker GLD), one of the world's largest gold-backed funds. It was set up in 2004 by the World Gold Council, the gold industry's trade group, to make buying gold as easy as buying a stock. The bars backing the fund sit in secure London vaults whose exact locations are kept secret, and visiting journalists must ride in a van with covered windows.

Estimated from filings — the split-adjusted price range over the quarters each manager built the position. A range, not a fill price; 13F reports a quarter-end snapshot, not a trade date.
