The Aaron'S Company Inc
A major US lease-to-own retailer, Aaron's lets people take home brand-name furniture, appliances, electronics, and computers with weekly or monthly payments instead of traditional credit — and once the payments are done, they own the item. It began in Atlanta in 1955, when founder R. Charles Loudermilk started by renting out folding chairs, and it grew into one of the largest rent-to-own chains in North America. Fun quirk: the name isn't a person — Loudermilk picked "Aaron's" because it started with "Aa" and would top alphabetical phone-book and directory listings.
