Euronav NV

A carrier of crude oil around the world, Euronav runs a large fleet of giant tankers that haul crude across oceans and even park offshore to float as floating storage. Its name is a shortened form of "European Navigation," born from the European Navigation Company and shaped by a 1990s joint venture between the Belgian shipper Compagnie Maritime Belge and France's Compagnie Nationale de Navigation. Today it sails on as the tanker brand of the CMB.TECH maritime group after that company adopted the new name in 2024.
