A family-run fashion and beauty house based in Barcelona, Spain, that owns the fragrance and fashion brands Carolina Herrera, Rabanne (formerly Paco Rabanne), Jean Paul Gaultier, and Nina Ricci. It began in 1914 when Antonio Puig Castelló started distributing foreign cosmetics in Spain, and in 1922 it produced Milady, the first lipstick ever made in Spain. Its lavender cologne Agua Lavanda Puig, launched in 1940, remains a Spanish household staple.
