Broadstone Acquisition Corp

A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" firm, created in 2020 by serial entrepreneurs Hugh Osmond, Edward Hawkes, and Marc Jonas to hunt for a promising business to take public, focusing on opportunities in the UK and Europe. After listing on the New York Stock Exchange, it merged with Vertical Aerospace, a British developer of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, in December 2021, and then ceased to exist as an independent company. Fun fact: as a SPAC it never made a product itself — its entire job was finding a company to merge with, which it did, giving Vertical Aerospace's air-taxi dreams a public listing.
