Dragoneer Growth Opportunities Corp II

A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank-check" firm, created by the San Francisco investment house Dragoneer Investment Group to raise money and merge with a private business to take it public. In late 2021 it combined with Cvent, a software platform that companies use to plan, register, and run meetings and events of every kind. Its name nods to its investor parent, whose founder picked a dragon-flavored brand with no deeper meaning — just a memorable, fire-breathing sound.
