Energem Corp

A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" shell created in 2021 to raise money and merge with a private business, focused on energy and sustainable-resource companies in Southeast Asia. In March 2024 it completed its mission by merging with Graphjet Technology, a Malaysian firm whose patented process turns palm kernel shells — a waste product of palm oil — into graphene and artificial graphite; the combined company now trades on Nasdaq.

Common stock — Merged with Graphjet Technology in March 2024, now trades as GTI
