Investindustrial Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" firm, created in 2020 by the Italian private equity house Investindustrial to find a business to buy. It found one in Ermenegildo Zegna, the luxury menswear house founded in 1910 in the Biella Alps, and merged with it in 2021, taking the fashion brand public on the New York Stock Exchange. The Zegna family, whose founder started his wool mill at age 22, kept control of the combined company.
Class A Common Stock — Merged with Zegna Group, now trades under ticker ZGN (NYSE)
