Founded in 2021 by biotech entrepreneur Dr. Someit Sidhu, JATT focused on the life sciences sector and completed its business combination with clinical-stage biotech Zura Bio in March 2023, after which the combined company took the Zura Bio name. The name "JATT" has no official meaning — it's simply the brand the management team chose for its investment vehicles.
