Banner Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a "blank check" company formed in 2021 whose sole purpose was to find a private operating business, typically in healthcare, education, or business services, and take it public through a merger. It held its initial public offering on the NASDAQ in September 2021 and never completed a business combination, so it redeemed its public shares and dissolved in May 2023. It was led by Tanner Ainge, son of basketball legend Danny Ainge, whose investment firm gave the SPAC its name.
