Nomad Foods Limited
One of Europe's largest frozen food companies, Nomad Foods owns the Birds Eye, Iglo, Findus, Ledo, and Frikom brands, selling fish fingers, vegetables, and other frozen meals across dozens of European markets. It was born in 2015 when the investment vehicle Nomad Holdings, founded by Noam Gottesman and Martin E. Franklin, bought the Iglo Group. The Birds Eye name traces to Clarence Birdseye, who invented quick-freezing after watching Inuit fishermen flash-freeze fish in the Arctic.
