Abrdn Silver ETF Trust
A trust that issues a physically backed exchange-traded fund, the abrdn Physical Silver Shares ETF (ticker SIVR), which holds actual silver bullion in secure vaults so investors can track the metal's price without storing it themselves. The fund was launched in 2009 by ETF Securities and later acquired by Aberdeen Standard Investments, the asset manager that famously dropped the vowels from its name to become "abrdn" in 2021 before eventually rebranding back to Aberdeen.
