Fuji Seal International Inc
A maker of shrink sleeve labels and other packaging for beverages, food, shampoos and medicines, Fuji Seal International supplies the labels that wrap drink bottles, spouted pouches and personal-care products used by households every day. It began in 1897 as Fujio Seisakusho, a maker of wooden faucets for sake barrels, and pivoted to bottle cap seals in the 1950s as glass bottles replaced barrels. Fun fact: it pioneered the shrink sleeve label in 1961, and its name pairs "Seal" (its packaging trade) with "Fuji," after Japan's iconic mountain.
