Pathfinder Acquisition Corporation
A blank-check company, or SPAC, created in the Cayman Islands in 2020 by two investment firms — Palo Alto's HGGC and San Francisco's Industry Ventures — to raise money and merge with a growth-oriented technology company. It went public in early 2021 and announced a deal to combine with ServiceMax, a field-service software maker, but the two sides called off the merger later that year.
