Angel Pond Holdings Corporation
A blank-check company, or special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), incorporated in the Cayman Islands and listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker POND. It was founded by Theodore Wang, a former Goldman Sachs partner, and Simon Xie, a co-founder of Alibaba, to raise money and merge with another business. In late 2022 it combined with the database firm MariaDB, and the merged company became publicly traded as MariaDB plc.
