Ftac Hera Acquisition Corp.
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC)—a "blank-check" firm created to raise money and merge with or buy an existing business, typically in financial services, real estate, insurance, and tech. It was launched by the Cohen Circle team behind the FTAC (FinTech Acquisition Corp.) family of SPACs and went public in 2021, though it later liquidated without completing a deal. The "Hera" in its name nods to the queen of the Greek gods, part of a lineup that also included FTAC Zeus and FTAC Athena.
