Patheon N.v.

A contract development and manufacturing organization that makes prescription drugs for other pharmaceutical and biotech companies, handling everything from early development to commercial production. It began in 1974 in Fort Erie, Ontario as Custom Pharmaceuticals Ltd., took the name Patheon in 1993, and later merged with the Dutch chemical giant DSM's pharma division before being absorbed by Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2017. The name echoes "Pantheon," the temple to all gods, hinting at its wide-reaching services.
