Aalberts NV
A Dutch industrial technology company that engineers precision components and systems for buildings, semiconductor makers, and industry — from piping networks and heating valves to ultra-precise machine parts and surface coatings. It was founded in 1975 by Jan Aalberts as an aluminium extrusion shop and still carries his name. A fun twist: its famous "Apollo" ball valves, a global industry benchmark since 1968, trace back to a Detroit brass company founded in 1928 that Aalberts acquired in 2010.
