Northern Star Investment Corp. III
A blank-check company, or SPAC, created to find a business to merge with, focused on direct-to-consumer and digital e-commerce brands. It was led by Joanna Coles, former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan, and investor Jonathan Ledecky, co-owner of the New York Islanders. Part of a family of "Northern Star" SPACs from the same founders, it never completed a merger and wound down, returning money to shareholders.
