Glassbridge Enterprises, Inc.
A US holding company that runs an asset management business, providing investment advice and managing funds with technology-driven, quantitative strategies for outside investors. It began life in 1996 as Imation, a maker of floppy disks and other data-storage media spun off from 3M, before renaming itself GlassBridge in 2017 to match its pivot. The name Imation was a portmanteau of "imaging" and "information management," while the new GlassBridge name came from its asset-management subsidiary.
