Singapore Exchange Ltd.
A marketplace where investors trade stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities, the Singapore Exchange (SGX) is one of Asia's major financial hubs. It was born in 1999 when the Stock Exchange of Singapore merged with the Singapore International Monetary Exchange, making it the region's first demutualized, integrated securities and derivatives exchange. A year later it became the first exchange in Asia-Pacific to list shares of itself on its own trading floor.
