An Israeli maker of ultra-fast, large-format 3D printers, Massivit builds machines that squirt out a light-sensitive gel that hardens instantly under UV light, turning out oversized prototypes, molds, and props for industries like automotive, marine, and entertainment. The company was founded in 2013 by Gershon Miller, a printing-industry veteran who had earlier helped start Objet, and two partners, to solve the problem of printing big parts quickly. Its name is a play on the word "massive"—a nod to the sheer size of what its printers produce.
