Accelerate Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), or "blank check company," that raised money on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker AAQC to hunt for a North American business to buy in the industrial, transportation, mobility, consumer, and retail sectors. It was led by Robert Nardelli, the former chief executive of The Home Depot and a longtime General Electric executive. The company never found a merger target and ultimately liquidated, returning its money to shareholders.
