Jg Boswell Company
A private farming company that grows cotton, tomatoes, and other crops on vast tracts of land in California's San Joaquin Valley, making it one of the largest cotton producers in the world. Founded in the 1920s by James Griffin Boswell, the company grew from a small family operation into an agricultural powerhouse by draining and developing thousands of acres of the Tulare Lake basin. The company's name comes straight from its founder, and it still operates from its headquarters in Pasadena, California.
