Dassault Systemes SE
A maker of 3D design and simulation software, Dassault Systèmes builds the tools engineers use to create everything from airplanes and cars to medical devices. Its flagship CATIA software and 3DEXPERIENCE platform let companies design and test products digitally before anything is physically built. Founded in 1981 as a spin-off from French aircraft maker Dassault Aviation, it grew from a small team that wrote 3D modeling software to help design fighter jets. CATIA was originally called CATI before being renamed for global ambitions.
