Pluri Inc.
A biotechnology company in Haifa, Israel, that grows human, animal, and plant cells at industrial scale using a three-dimensional cell-expansion platform. Its placenta-derived PLX cell therapies target inflammatory and muscle conditions, while the same technology also feeds cultivated-meat and agricultural projects. Founded from stem-cell patents developed during founder Shai Meretzki's PhD at the Technion, it was long known as Pluristem Therapeutics before shortening its name to Pluri in 2022 — a nod to "pluripotent" cells.
