Rattler Midstream LP
A Texas midstream energy company that built and ran the pipelines, processing plants, and water systems that move crude oil and natural gas out of the Permian Basin, serving its parent Diamondback Energy and other producers. Diamondback, itself named after a rattlesnake, formed Rattler in 2018 to own that infrastructure and keep the snake theme going. The partnership went public in 2019 and was folded back into Diamondback in 2022 after just a few years on the stock market.
