A maker of farm and construction machinery, CNH Global builds tractors, combine harvesters, excavators, and wheel loaders sold under brands like Case IH and New Holland to farmers and builders around the world. It was born in 1999 when Case Corporation and New Holland N.V. merged, and in 2013 it combined with Fiat Industrial to become CNH Industrial. A fun quirk: the New Holland name comes from the Pennsylvania town where the company was founded in 1895, while Case is named after its founder, Jerome Increase Case.
