A Chinese provider of automation and control systems that keep factories, subways, railways, and nuclear power plants running safely. Founded in 1993 in Beijing, it supplies its HOLLiAS control systems to industrial plants and trains, and its HOLLiAS-N system — called the "nervous system" of a nuclear plant — to high-end nuclear power stations. The company was once called HLS Systems International before renaming itself Hollysys in 2009 to reflect its focus on its own automation technology.
