Catchmark Timber Trust, Inc.
A timberland real estate investment trust (REIT) that owned and managed forests in the southern United States, earning money by harvesting and selling timber to mills. It began in 2007 as Wells Timberland REIT before rebranding as CatchMark in 2013 and listing on the New York Stock Exchange. The name comes from the "catchmark," a brand stamped on log ends during the river-drive era so loggers could sort and claim their timber. In 2022, CatchMark merged into PotlatchDeltic and ceased to exist as a separate company.
Class A Common Stock — Acquired by PotlatchDeltic Corporation (PCH) on September 14, 2022. Delisted from NYSE.
