Toyota Industries Corporation
One of the world's largest makers of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, Toyota Industries builds the Toyota, BT, Raymond, and CESAB lift-truck brands used in factories and warehouses everywhere. The company began in 1926, when inventor Sakichi Toyoda started selling the automatic looms he'd crafted to ease the grueling work of the women in his village — and it later gave birth to Toyota Motor. Its name simply comes from the Toyoda family who founded it.
