Almonty Industries Inc.
A Canadian mining company that produces tungsten, the metal with the highest melting point of any element, used in cutting tools, aerospace parts, and electronics. Almonty operates tungsten mines in Spain and Portugal and ranks among the largest tungsten producers outside China. Headquartered in Toronto and led by Lewis Black, the company's product takes its name from the Swedish for "heavy stone" — fitting for a metal nearly twice as dense as steel.
