Ncs Multistage Holdings, Inc.
A maker of tools and services for the oil and gas industry, NCS Multistage builds the sliding sleeves and downhole equipment used to fracture oil and gas wells, plus tracer diagnostics that tell operators how each well performs. Founded in 2006 by Robert Nipper and Marty Stromquist in Canada, it grew out of coiled-tubing fracturing know-how and renamed itself NCS Multistage in 2014 to reflect its signature "Multistage Unlimited" pinpoint-stimulation system. Fun twist: the letters "NCS" have never had an official meaning.
