Sp Plus Corp
A manager of parking lots, valet services, and airport ground transportation across North America, SP+ (short for SP Plus) runs thousands of garages for hotels, hospitals, and aviation clients, plus shuttles and baggage help. It traces back to 1929, when the Warshauer family in Chicago noticed they earned more renting out a Standard Oil station's lot than selling gas—hence the name "Standard Parking." After merging with Central Parking in 2012, it adopted the SP+ name in 2013, and Metropolis Technologies later acquired the firm.
