Daseke, Inc.
One of North America's largest flatbed and specialized trucking companies, Daseke moves heavy, oversized freight—from aviation parts and construction materials—across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. It was founded in 2008 by Don Daseke, a CPA and serial entrepreneur who built a real-estate trust and a telecom company before buying his first trucking firm, Smokey Point Distributing. That carrier took its name from the Washington town where it hauled parts and still specializes in bulky aviation cargo.
