An AV and smart-home technology maker, Snap One supplies audio, security, lighting, and networking hardware plus the Control4 automation platform and OvrC remote-monitoring software, all sold through professional integrators rather than retail shelves. Founded in 2005 as SnapAV by entrepreneur Jay Faison to serve technicians "by integrators, for integrators," the name Snap was chosen because doing business should be "easy as a snap." It merged with Control4 in 2019, rebranded as Snap One in 2021, and in 2024 became part of ADI Global Distribution.
