A broadcasting company that once operated a network of television stations across the United States, including WFAA in Dallas and KHOU in Houston. It traces its roots to the Galveston Daily News, founded in 1842, which Alfred Horatio Belo joined after the Civil War and renamed A.H. Belo and Company in 1876. Its Dallas station's call letters are widely said to stand for "Working For All Alike."
