Flow International Corporation
One of the world's largest makers of ultra-high-pressure waterjet cutting machines, Flow blasts water with garnet abrasives through metal, glass, and other materials for the automotive and aerospace industries. Founded in 1974 by a former Boeing scientist, the name comes from the high-pressure water flowing through its machines. Its roots reach back to a barn on Washington's Vashon Island, where an early pioneer built the first waterjet cutting machine.
