A biopharmaceutical company that makes emergency injection medicines like ZIMHI, an FDA-approved naloxone shot for reversing opioid overdose, and SYMJEPI, an epinephrine injector for severe allergic reactions. Founded in 2006, it merged in 2023 with DMK Pharmaceuticals and renamed itself DMK Pharmaceuticals Corporation, turning toward developing treatments for substance-use disorders. ZIMHI's higher-dose naloxone was designed to be given by anyone, even without medical training, at the first sign of an overdose.
