G&K Services, Inc.

A provider of branded work uniforms and facility services—floor mats, mops, towels, and hygiene products—supplied on a rental basis to businesses across North America. It began in 1902 when brothers Alexander and Morris Gross bought a small Minneapolis dye house that also offered door-to-door laundry and diaper service. In 1935 it absorbed Kronicks Laundry and renamed itself Gross-Kronicks, a mouthful that was eventually shortened to G&K—its name still honoring both founding families. Cintas acquired the company in 2017.
